Jeanne Grunert is the heart and soul behind Seven Oaks Consulting and a passionate storyteller with over 30 years of experience in marketing, business, and writing.

Her career includes both full-time and fractional marketing leadership positions for companies, including The College Board, The Grow Network/McGraw-Hill, marketing agencies, systems integrators, technology companies, and education software firms.

Jeanne’s leadership style is warm, empathetic, and results-driven. She excels at remote, cross-cultural leadership and has managed marketing teams ranging from 2 to 20 people.

She’s a frequent speaker, teacher, and writer on topics such as organic search for AI-powered SEO, content strategy, and personal branding.

Jeanne also serves as the Branding and Marketing Expert for the National Association of Independent Writers and Editors (NAIWE). She holds an M.A. in Writing and an M.S. in Direct and Digital Marketing (awarded with distinction) from NYU.
